Honoring All of God’s Creatures
The Blessing of the Animals
The Blessing of the Animals has become a deeply meaningful tradition for our community each fall. It offers a chance to honor the love and companionship that animals provide, and to express gratitude for their presence in our lives.
Pastor Jeff will offer a special prayer and blessing over your beloved animal, asking for their continued health, happiness, and protection.
The entire community is invited each fall during the second week of October.
For everyone’s safety and comfort, we kindly ask that pets be on leashes or in carriers. If you’re bringing a horse or larger animal, please ensure they are properly secured.
Join us as we give thanks for God’s beautiful creatures
and the unconditional love they share with us.
Give thanks for God’s beautiful creatures
From horses, dogs, and cats to rabbits, birds, and even the smallest critters, we celebrate the joy they bring to our lives and express gratitude for their presence.
Whether they gallop, trot, pounce, or purr. Pastor Jeff will offer a special prayer and blessing over your beloved animal, asking for their continued health, happiness, and protection.
The entire community is invited to join us for our annual Pet Blessing—held every fall during the second week of October. It’s a special time for our whole community to come together and celebrate the animals we love.
